I remember Tom Clancy - who used to be known for his precision and attention to details - just got blasted for his one book about the dirty bomb in Australia (can't remember the title) where he was totally off on his science and location particulars. Probably had someone writing for him at that point, lol. Robert Ludlum is still writing and he's been dead for years! :)Lynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11998346902027037420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17595589.post-80870051352501167122010-05-17T08:56:08.955-05:002010-05-17T08:56:08.955-05:00I was skimming through the books that you read las...I was skimming through the books that you read last year and noticed this one. I had the same basic opinion except I lost complete attention when Robin had Gulfport and Biloxi completely submerged by the waters of the Mississippi River. Unless there would be upheaval on the scale of the Great Flood, there is no way the terrain could allow the Mississippi do that to that region of Mississippi. And the area around New Orleans was totally dry. Now that had me in whoops. This lowered my esteem of Robin Parrish considerably, even though I put most of the blame on the editor for that gaff.Refreshment in Refugehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05109290647409291383noreply@blogger.com
