9th Day of Christmas

Today is the 9th Day of the Christmas Season, Monday, 2 January 2023. It's the Feast of Basil the Great and Gregory of Nazianzus, Bishops, Teachers of the Faith, 379 and 389 (a lesser feast day).

I'm not Eastern Orthodox or Roman Catholic, but I like the idea of feast days. As I understand them, they are meant to draw our attention to those lives that are commendable to the faith. I think we need all the noble role models we can get.

Do you celebrate or observe the various feast days of the Church? What's your take on them? Comment below and Merry Christmas!

Keep it clean and positive. (And sorry about the word verification, but the spmb*ts are out in full force!)
