Wanting to Review for Mind & Media

UPDATE 12/11/05
Guess what? I've been approved! Wow, thanks for lying putting in a good word for me. Will let you know soon what the first book is that I'll be reviewing. (Was that proper grammar?) lgp

Can you put in a good word for me?

I'm applying to become a reviewer for Mind & Media. Last week I emailed Stacy at Blog For Books with all my info. For me to be able to put this logo officially on my blog, I have some hoops to jump through. And I think I've met the criteria. But I still haven't heard from her.

So I need your help to put in a good word for me. Could you do that? If you think I'd make a good book reviewer, please email Stacy Harp and let her know. Or comment below! Thanks! To help you out, here are the Top 5 Reasons I think I would make a good reviewer:

  • I have a readership of more than 2. Three is more than 2. Honest.
  • Hardly anyone in my 'sphere of influence (blogrolls 1, 2, 3, 4) is an Exclusive Reviewer. It would be like opening a new market for Stacy and the publishers she represents. Heh.
  • I'm just as funny and good looking as Don Surber. Okay, maybe not as funny.
  • I want free books. So there.
  • I come highly connected. A friend of a friend is marrying somebody who is linked to a current reviewer, who happens to be a friend from junior high.

  • So what do you say, Stacy? Please, huh, can I, please?
    Sincerely, Lyndon Perry

    1. Be patient. :) Stacy is out of town at a conference. She may not have had time to get back with you. You may get a phone call yet. :) I was shocked when she called me!

    2. Ah, thanks! So my emailing her everyday demanding she pay attention to me and crying like a baby on her answering machine probably is not the best strategy to get her attention?

Keep it clean and positive. (And sorry about the word verification, but the spmb*ts are out in full force!)
