Indie-Pen-Dance Day!

I'm an indie writer. I pen stories. And this week I get to dance a happy little jig.

Why? I'm glad you asked. I just released my first novel (albeit a short one at about 100 pages, so says Amazon!) called Ma Tutt's Donut Hut. It's currently in the Kindle store and I'll format a paperback soon (which I estimate will be about 150 pages, thank you very much!). Epub version by this fall.

Here's the blurb:
A Curious Cozy with a Magical Cat!

Dolly Tutt has just opened her own bakery in the small mountain community of Sugar Pine Station. But the Creamy Pie franchise across the street is giving her fits. Her business is dying. She needs a miracle or she'll be forced to close.

Fortunately, Mack, a mysterious tabby that came with the doughnut shop, lends a paw by pointing Dolly to a magical ingredient that definitely puts the spice back in her life and rejuvenates the Donut Hut. Unfortunately, it also unleashes as series of catastrophes that may end up destroying her business once and for all.

This short novel of about 100 pages is a complete adventure but contains four tales within the larger gentle mystery. Think of it in terms of a four episode mini-series with each story complete unto itself but adding up to a satisfying conclusion. At least that’s the goal! Thanks for reading!
So there you have it. Only $3.95 on Amazon. But if you act now (!) and sign up for my occasional email newsletter right here, I'll send you a free mobi version (for Kindle). Even if you don't have a Kindle, you can download a free Kindle App from Amazon and read it on your computer or tablet.

Also, a shout out to Jordan Dyke for a great cover design. A friend said she hoped the book was as good as the cover. Hmm, not sure how to take that! Anyway, I'm pretty excited and am in the mood to celebrate.

So Happy Indie-Pen-Dance Day!

Keep it clean and positive. (And sorry about the word verification, but the spmb*ts are out in full force!)
