Only 200 words today, but again, they were targeted words, like yesterday, toward a story that was almost accepted by Every Day Fiction. The editors wanted a bit more context, so...I'm hoping these 200 words filled out the flash fiction to their satisfaction. This one is a very short fantasy piece titled, "I Just About Died!" It's definitely a story from my "wheelhouse" (ha, I hate that term) - but whimsical spec fic seems to be what I like dabbling in. Wish me pixie dust.

Now back to my crime thriller. And yes, I insert humor there too. Nothing like a bit of gritty suspense with a zinger every now and then to break the tension. More on my progress tomorrow.
