Favorite Christmas Movies?

Last week, I mentioned a few classic movies we've seen in recent months. Some were simply duds. I guess I'm not a fan of Fred Astaire musicals after all.

Anyway, we stumbled on The Bishop's Wife (from 1947, black and white) a few months ago and thought it delightful. Had never seen it!

We actually watched it back in September but we immediately checked it off our holiday movie list. (You have a holiday movie list, don't you?)

The Bishop's Wife stars Cary Grant, Loretta Young, and David Niven. Niven is classic, of course. Young is perfect in her role. But Grant was a bit of a rogue in this one, wasn't he?

Still, quite a fun 'angel' film, nice and sentimental. It will go on our annual holiday film list, ready for next year's viewing.

What about you? Besides Die Hard, what holiday movies do you try to watch every Christmas season?
